Lettering is the least forgiving work: if the spacing doesn't follow the curve of the arch, the word reads crooked even when every single letter is perfect. That is why across six teeth (€387) the fitting stage weighs more than the sculpting. The lettering is yours: a name, a date, a word. I design it in 3D on your cast and send a preview before casting, so we check legibility together on YOUR arch, not on a generic model. Six teeth give the letters room to breathe. It is the most personal piece in the portfolio: two identical orders cannot exist by construction. Lettering is the treatment that demands the most drawing and the least metal: every letter has to be built on the curve of YOUR arch, because teeth are not a straight line and text laid out flat reads crooked in the mouth. I start from the plaster cast of your impression, rebuild the arch in 3D and place the letters on it one by one, correcting spacing and tilt tooth by tooth. What you see in the preview is already the piece you will receive, not a generic render. Six teeth is the right size for lettering: enough room for a short name without forcing a cramped typeface, and all of it stays in the zone that shows when you talk and when you smile. On four teeth the same word would have to be compressed; on eight it opens up, but both the price and the presence in your mouth change. Casting is in ISO 22674 certified chrome-cobalt dental alloy: the same family used in dental labs, chosen because it does not oxidise like silver and holds a mirror polish without dulling. After casting, every letter is finished by hand — the longest step, and the only one that decides whether the lettering actually reads or turns into a shiny tangle. Edges are rounded where they meet the gum, so the piece goes on and comes off without catching. People usually put their own name on it, a child's name, a date that matters or a word they have carried for years. There is no catalogue of phrases: two identical orders cannot exist by construction, which is why this page shows an example rather than a model to pick. The piece ships in its own case, you wear it when you want and take it off in a second: it is removable dental jewellery, not an appliance.
