Technical cookies and a cookieless visit counter, no advertising pixels. Stripe's script for instalments starts only if you ask for it. Here is the list, name by name.
This page lists in full the cookies and other data the site stores on your device, what they are for and how long they last. In short: technical tools and a first-party visit counter that uses no cookies. No profiling cookies, no advertising pixels. There is one exception, and it starts only with your tap: Stripe's script that shows you Klarna instalments («Third-party cookies» section). The banner you see on your first visit is informational only and blocks nothing.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files a site saves in your browser, for example to remember a preference from one page to the next. Similar technologies are localStorage and sessionStorage: browser storage areas that stay on your device (the first until you clear it, the second until the tab closes) and which, unlike cookies, are not sent to servers.
The law distinguishes technical tools (necessary for operation, no consent required) from profiling tools (tracking for advertising, which require consent and a banner). We only use the former.
Our approach: technical only, informational banner
On grillzmarche.com there are no profiling cookies, advertising trackers or advertising pixels. The tools the site uses by itself are only technical and necessary for it to work: for these, under art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Garante's Guidelines (10 June 2021), your consent is not required. Stripe's script for Klarna instalments doesn't start by itself: it loads only if you tap «See how» («Third-party cookies» section). The banner that appears on your first visit is informational only: it tells you what we use, blocks nothing and, once you press «Got it», it does not come back (your browser remembers it in the local data item gm_consent_v1).
If one day we introduce tools that require consent, we will first update this page and show you a banner so you can choose.
The cookies we use
These are all the cookies the site sets by itself. The ones Stripe's script may store, only after you tap «See how», are described in the «Third-party cookies» section:

Statistics without cookies
To count visits we use no cookies and no identifier stored on your device. The site uses a first-party counter recording only aggregate data (page viewed, country, referring site or campaign, steps such as adding to the cart, opening the checkout or a cancelled payment) and estimates unique visitors with a temporary technical code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to your identity. Your IP address is never stored and your browser's «Do Not Track» signal is honoured: with that signal the browser counts nothing, and only the daily totals counted by the server remain: orders waiting for payment, paid orders, welcome vouchers activated and used. They are counted on orders and vouchers we record anyway. Details are in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
Third-party cookies
None, unless you ask for it. The site embeds no social pixels or ad networks. There is one exception, and it starts only with your tap: if you tap «See how» next to the Klarna instalments line, the site loads Stripe's script (js.stripe.com) to show you Klarna's official message. We load it without Stripe's advanced fraud signals, because nobody pays on our site. The script may still store cookies of its own on our domain, with names starting with __stripe_: they are not used to show you ads, and you can delete them from your browser settings. If you don't tap, the script doesn't load and nothing arrives. When you go to pay, you are on Stripe's page and its rules apply.
Links to Instagram and WhatsApp take you to separate services: from the moment you open them, their policies apply, not ours.
How to manage cookies and stored data
You can delete or block cookies, localStorage and sessionStorage at any time from your browser settings (usually under «Privacy» or «Clear browsing data»), even for this site only. Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge publish the official instructions on their support pages.
Practical effects if you clear them: the site forgets your language, the configurator draft is lost, the opening animation plays again and an activated welcome voucher no longer applies by itself (you can still type its code at checkout). Nothing else: no essential feature breaks.
Updates to this policy
If we introduce new tools, we will update this table first and, if the tool requires consent, we will ask for it with a banner before switching it on. The date of the last revision is always shown at the bottom of the page.
